Submit Concept Notes to ARROW to become Project Partners for Small Projects

Social Networking for NGOsAsian-Pacific Resource & Research Center for Women (ARROW), is inviting Project Partners from Pakistan, Nepal, Bangladesh, Maldives, Philippines, Indonesia, Cambodia, and Lao PDR for Small Project – Building New Constituencies for Women’s Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights: Working with Rights based climate change/environmental groups to build momentum for SRHR in the Lead up to the New Developmental Framework. Major objective of the program is to identify and strengthen the inter-linkages between climate change and Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR).

The program targets to contribute to sustainable development and poverty reduction throughout Asia by focusing on the particular sexual and reproductive health needs of women, which will enable women to take control of their lives and contribute to the economic development of themselves, their families and ultimately their countries.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Organization should be from one of the following country – Pakistan, Nepal, Bangladesh, Maldives, Indonesia, Cambodia, Philippines and Lao PDR.
  • Organization should have specific mandate for the promotion and protection of Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights as advanced by the International Conference on Population and Development, Program of Action (ICPD, POA) and is committed to advancing a rights based- inclusive, non- discriminatory, gender-sensitive agenda on sexual and reproductive health and rights.
  • Organization should have influence in its country of origin at local, provincial and national level.
  • Organization should have a community- based presence.
  • Organization should have the ability to generate national level impact.
  • Organization’s strategy and leadership should include research, monitoring and advocacy to promote the sexual and reproductive health and rights of young people.
  • Organization should be committed to developing innovative and evidence based strategies on climate change adaptation and the inter linkages with sexual and reproductive health and rights.
  • Organization should demonstrate commitment for women’s rights and gender equality.

Interested organizations must submit concept note along with budget. Documents to be attached along with the concept note are – official NGO registration, organizational profile, any evaluation of program/organization of past three years, annual reports of past three years, and audited financial statement of past three years.
